Our client, an international law firm is seeking an equity partner to lead the team handling the complexity of managing transactions in a changing world. You will be a member of the Corporate / M&A and Restructuring, Insolvency, and Bankruptcy practices.

In the corporate area, you will have vast experience assisting in M&A, joint ventures, competition, shareholder’s agreements, corporate restructuring, international financial transactions, investment funds, foreign investment, and financial matters. You will have advised local and foreign companies and banks in various M&A processes, project finance, and general corporate matters.

Furthermore, your ability to represent companies in bankruptcy processes, passive restructuring, and the negotiation of related contracts would be a plus.

The successful candidate will be part of an expanding CEE team that manages cross-border transactions seamlessly from planning/strategy through the due diligence phase to post-transaction integration. The candidate will ensure clients benefit from a timely, pragmatic, and commercial approach to problem-solving that adds value to their business and enables transactions to come to a successful conclusion for all parties.

The ideal candidate will be a Czech-qualified lawyer with at least 10+ years of experience with excellent business development and practice management skills should include a proven ability to train and mentor associates in their career paths. Also, have a portable and or a business plan that demonstrates further convincing increases in client portfolio while under the brand of this firm.
