Top international law firm seeks a Banking/Project Finance Lawyer for its Prague office.

Our client is a reputable international law firm, with a world leading Financial Services group which is based in all the major financial and commercial centers around the globe. Their Prague office, one of the leading law firms in the Czech Republic, is seeking a UK, Australian, US or Canadian qualified attorney with experience in banking and/or project finance transactions.

The Prague office has been regularly involved in major transactions shaping the business environment. Their operations focus on working with international investors in CEE and specializing in cross border banking and finance, capital markets, corporate/M&A and real estate transactions. They work for banks, investment banks, private equity funds and major international corporates doing deals in the region. Their office acts as a business hub.  With a strong focus on M&A and acquisition finance in various sectors, particularly real estate, the firm has extensive experience representing lenders, borrowers, buyers and sellers in complex, cross-border transactions in Central & Eastern Europe.

The successful candidate will be ideally a UK-qualified lawyer (or similar qualification and familiarity with UK law governed financing transactions) with around 5 years of PQE. A Czech national who has worked in London or New York and wishes to return to Prague would be appreciated.  Lawyers from US, UK, Australia or Canada with European experience would also be well received. Candidates should have substantial finance and cross-border experience. Candidates who have M&A experience in complex transactions would be considered a plus.
You should be a team player and commercially-minded, with a demonstrated ability to work proactively as part of a high-caliber team. You should be accustomed to providing top legal services in a focused and efficient manner. Your training will have been gained at a leading international law firm, where strength of experience and consistency of approach are considered key.
