Latham & Watkins LLP is pleased to announce that Tim Wybitul will join the Frankfurt office as a partner in the Litigation & Trial Department and member of the Data Privacy & Security Practice. Wybitul’s practice focuses on advising domestic and multinational clients on a variety of complex data privacy and employment law matters, with a particular focus on GDPR compliance, employee data privacy, internal investigations, and data protection litigation and regulatory proceedings.

Jones Day expands German Banking, Finance & Securities Practice with the addition of Dr. Michael Fischer as new partner in Frankfurt. An experienced lawyer in the area of finance supervisory law as well as compliance and investigations, Dr. Fischer will strengthen the practice in Germany and across Europe. Dr. Fischer previously spent seven years as General Counsel at UBS Europe SE in Frankfurt.

White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Banking Practice with the addition of Shane McDonald as a new partner in London. McDonald joins the Firm’s Global Banking Practice from global asset manager Hudson Advisors, which is affiliated with leading private equity firm Lone Star Funds, where he was Senior Vice President and instrumental in the financing of a large number of investments, including the acquisitions of non-performing loan portfolios and private equity portfolio companies.

King & Spalding announced that Timothy Fesenmyer has joined as a partner in the firm’s Corporate, Finance and Investments practice group in the New York office. Fesenmyer will focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate representation for the firm’s public and private company clients. Fesenmyer has advised on U.S. and cross-border deals, managing all aspects of public and private transactions, including negotiating mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations, as well as advising on joint ventures and complex commercial arrangements.
