The Co-op Group has confirmed the appointment of its new legal panel, with Squire Patton Boggs joining the panel alongside seven other firms.

Managing partner of Squire Patton Boggs in Manchester Rob Elvin, assisted by partner Victoria Leigh, led the successful pitch. Mr. Elvin commented: “We are proud to have been given the opportunity to work with The Co-op Group as a new member of its legal panel. Not only do we share Co-op’s values and principles for doing business responsibly, but we are inspired by the sheer scale of its community initiatives, commitment to ethical trading and active campaigning on issues such as modern slavery.

“We are excited to be part of the Co-op panel and to support its ambitious plans. We hope our common ethos, coupled with our specialist retail experience and innovation, will benefit Co-op as its business continues to develop and grow.”
