One of the largest international law firm with 30+ offices across the globe, which strives to exceed client expectations, is looking for a senior lawyer for their corporate – mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team. This team in Bucharest specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, major corporate restructurings and reorganisations, capital markets, joint ventures, general corporate law advice.
From cross-border M&A and joint ventures to private equity investments and governance matters, you will help clients achieve their ambitions through clear, commercial, and practical advice. You will be part of an international team advising on complex, high-value transactions across sectors. You will negotiate and draft key documents, lead and coordinate on both local and cross-border projects. You will work in a highly collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment.
Requirements
- You will have 10 years + experience in corporate – M&A with a leading law firm, ideally including some international firm or international experience.
- You are Romanian qualified.
- Portable business is expected in correspondence with the level/title you are expecting.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and Romanian.
- Team player, proactive and have excellent business development and communications skills.
- You can thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to details and service to clients is essential.
- You have a sense of leadership, responsibility and are committed to producing quality work.
