For more senior lawyers seeking a counsel level role, depending on the firm there will be an expectation of business development initiatives and indications you can build a client following. Several of the firms are flexible on fees, and encourage building your own book of business, offer a platform with a good brand and opportunity to make a name for yourself. Other firms are more conservative and focused on billable hours and hiring quality lawyers.
You will have experience in drafting articles of association, shareholders agreements, advising on capital increases/decreases, and winding-up of companies, venture capital transactions, joint-venture agreements, stock issues, leveraged buyouts and management buyouts, restructurings and privatizations. You will also have familiarity with the regulatory aspects of complex transactions; e.g. in connection with merger control proceedings before local and/or EU authorities.
Requirements:
- A strong legal background gained at a leading local or international law firm in Vienna,
- Austrian qualification, an LL.M. obtained in an English-speaking country would be a plus,
- Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken),

The firm has a multi-disciplinary approach, combining in-depth knowledge of real estate, with vast expertise in the areas of M&A, corporate and tax law, to deliver custom-made solutions across a broad range of real estate transactions.

The firms are looking to recruit a junior and/or mid-level Associates who have experience in the field of corporate / M&A; specialisation in banking & finance or insolvency law & restructuring is welcome, just as additional qualifications such as an LL.M. obtained in an English-speaking country. This is a unique opportunity for continuous professional growth.
You will have at least some experience in drafting articles of association, shareholders agreements, advising on capital increases/decreases, and winding-up of companies. Further experience in the following areas would make you an ideal candidate: venture capital transactions, joint-venture agreements, stock issues, leveraged buyouts and management buyouts, restructurings and privatizations.
You will also have familiarity with the regulatory aspects of complex transactions; e.g. in connection with merger control proceedings before local and/or EU authorities.
From commercial lending, project financing and private equity to regulatory work, MTNs, Eurobonds, IPOs, takeovers, credit-linked notes and securitization and de-listings.
Requirements
