The team advises on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on VAT, transactional structuring, reorganizations, and M&A-related tax matters. This is an opportunity for an experienced tax professional who understands how transactions are structured and executed, and who can identify and address the key tax issues arising throughout the transaction lifecycle.

About You

You should be capable of addressing the specific tax matters (in particular in VAT area) in relation to acquisitions and disposals (both share deal and asset deal), tax structuring exercises, changes in and development of business and operational models (both domestic and cross-border), reorganizations and restructurings (both on company and group level), financing and financing-like services, mergers, demergers, and cross-border transformations.

You shall be able to identify tax adversities, opportunities, and risks within transactions and propose suitable solutions or ways forward (in particular in VAT area).

You should possess general understanding of the transactional process (e.g. structuring for a transaction, general principles of purchase price calculation, tax DD and transposition of findings into SPA, and post completion integration).
