Our client is a leading international law firm, full service with more than 30 offices worldwide. They seek a high calibre acquisition finance partner/lawyer with a particular focus on representing sponsors (as opposed to lenders).
The partner or counsel will be acting as an adviser to financial sponsors who rely on the depth and breadth of this firm’s practice for the full range of their financing needs. You will be experienced helping clients navigate the entire LBO life cycle, from investment to recapitalization to exit and every step in between.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in advising on broad spectrum of leveraged finance in Poland and possibly other Central and Eastern European markets, representing a combination of private equity firms, family offices and corporate sponsors. A candidate with experience representing Polish and foreign banks, private credit providers and other lenders is also welcome so long as the bulk of their recent experience has been representing financial sponsors.
This role calls for a senior Polish qualified finance lawyer with over 10 years of experience, able to work autonomously, having manage clients and mentor more junior associates. Deep experience with complex capital structures, business approach, demanding timelines and a wide range of industries is essential. Being ranked in Legal500 or Chambers would be ideal.
You will play a key part in strengthening and building relationships with clients along with incorporating your own portable business into this firm.
