Our client, is one of the largest international law firms in the world. They are looking for a lawyer with 1 to 3 years of experience in competition law to join the Warsaw office’s antitrust group.
The antitrust team forms part of the firm’s Global antitrust team, which advises on ground-breaking, high-profile cases across antitrust, merger control, and state aid. The team is advising on Polish and European competition law, including on restrictive agreements, cartels, abuses of dominant position. They represent clients before the Polish Competition Authority, Polish competition courts and the European Commission. The team is recognized for their expertise in this area in directories including Chambers Europe, Legal500 and Polish legal publications.
Qualifications :
- Fluent spoken and written English and Polish.
- Law degree from a Polish law school with top marks.
- Just before qualifying for the Polish bar or recently qualified.
- Passion for antitrust law.
We are looking for a few years of relevant experience with a leading local or international firm in Warsaw or London. Candidates with previous exposure to high profile or complex matters are preferred. You will demonstrate excellent document drafting skills. You should demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills along with a high level of commercial awareness. You should be someone who thrives in a team with high professional standards and a flexible client-friendly commercial approach. You will have had strong exposure of collaborating with multi-jurisdictional and multi-disciplinary teams.
