Our client is a highly regarded international law firm, recognised for advising both local and international clients on complex and high-value transactions. As part of its continued growth, the firm is looking to recruit an Associate / Senior Associate with 5+ years of experience post-qualification to join its Banking, Finance and Restructuring team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on high-profile transactions for a global client base.
Your key responsibilities will be drafting, reviewing, negotiating and executing a broad range of financing documents. This includes transaction management where you will work closely with partners, counsels and clients to ensure transactions are organized, documented and completed efficiently and effectively. You will coordinate with other practice areas and offices to provide comprehensive legal services to clients and manage and mentor junior associates and trainees. Depending on your seniority, you will contribute to business development activities, including client presentations and pitch documentation, and stay abreast of legal developments in finance law and contribute to the firm’s knowledge management.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Czech lawyer trained at a leading domestic or international law firm, with solid experience advising on banking, finance and restructuring matters. You should be able to handle complex legal issues and transactions and have the ability to listen to clients and work proactively on their behalf. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Proficiency in English is required. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is important at this level as well as being proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
