Our client, a full-service global law firm with its EMEA headquarters in London, and offices in the Far East, North America, and throughout Europe, is seeking a partner/team of transactional corporate attorneys for its Prague office.
The firm provides a complete range of legal services across multiple jurisdictions. Their clients appreciate both the firm’s global insight and local expertise that allows them to handle all aspects of complex domestic and cross-border corporate transactions for global, national and emerging companies.
As the key leader of the M&A/PE practice, you will work on a full spectrum of corporate transactions and deliver seamless, integrated solutions to clients. Our client is interested in Partners having portable businesses as well as relationships that would be synergistic to the firm’s network.
You should have extensive expertise across M&A, joint ventures, private equity, equity capital markets, restructurings, and advisory work such as corporate governance to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients.
You will be a Czech qualified lawyer who has been practicing transactional corporate / M&A law for 10+ years, representing top tier international and national clients, including investment funds, banking institutions, industrial and commercial companies, in connection with a broad range of transactions. Aside from hands-on client work, you will enjoy working in a team setting, leading and mentoring more junior lawyers and monitoring their progress.
You will identify new business opportunities and contribute to the further development of the practice. A portable book of primary business/clients and active relationships with key business contacts and referral sources is essential as this is a leadership role.
