Our client, a dynamic international law firm, is seeking a qualified Polish Partner or Counsel to lead its Energy Practice in Warsaw.

You will be a key member of the firm’s growing CEE energy practice, advising clients on the full spectrum of energy regulation, including market design and reform, licensing and permitting, regulatory compliance, grid access and connection issues, tariff structures, unbundling requirements, and the evolving EU and Polish regulatory frameworks impacting conventional and renewable energy projects. While transactional experience (including PPAs and project development) is valued, the core focus of this role is strategic regulatory counselling and representation before relevant authorities and stakeholders.

Candidates with a well-established reputation and substantial expertise in Energy Law are encouraged to get in touch. The ideal candidate will have either come from a leading law firm and have been a key member within the Energy Law Practice Group or from the legal department of a major corporation operating in the energy sector. Having spent significant time within a law firm is essential. A focus on renewables would be highly appreciated.

Candidates at this level are expected to have a portfolio of business and established client contacts paired with impeccable business development skills.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, in addition to an enthusiastic and committed personality with a proactive and assertive approach and the ability to influence others. Compensation will be commensurate with knowledge and experience.
