Our client is a highly regarded boutique law firm based in Istanbul, advising a portfolio of reputable global clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters. The firm is seeking to recruit a talented Junior Associate to join its growing team.
You will work closely with experienced practitioners in a collaborative and dynamic environment, gaining exposure to high-quality domestic and cross-border matters across a variety of sectors.
The Role
- Drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
- Advising clients on diverse corporate and commercial law matters
- Providing sector-specific regulatory advice and conducting risk assessments in relation to compliance issues
- Supporting corporate housekeeping and governance matters
- Advising on general legal issues arising from clients’ day-to-day business operations
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer with 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial law, gained at a leading law firm and/or as in-house counsel within a multinational company
- Litigation or arbitration experience will be considered an advantage
- Law degree from a reputable university
- Strong proficiency in English
- Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills, with a pragmatic and commercially minded approach
- Ability to deliver creative, solution-oriented legal advice within tight timeframes
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- A team player with the ability to work independently when required
