Our client, a renowned global law firm is looking for an employment lawyer who would appreciate the opportunity to work on a myriad of challenging matters for some of the biggest and well-known employers in Poland, and occasionally collaborating with teams from the firm’s extensive international platform on cross-jurisdictional projects.

The global L&E team has a truly extensive reach, acting for a range of employers from small start-ups to listed multinationals, across a broad spread of sectors and encompassing a wide spectrum of businesses, from manufacturing to professional services companies and everything in-between.

You will be working with partners on a broad spread of matters. You will act for large clients and household names across multiple sectors, including Retail, Finance, Leisure and Hospitality, FMCG, Technology, Media and Advertising, Manufacturing, and Engineering.

You will be a valuable member of the team with front line client exposure from the start. From day one, you will be advising across the entire spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious employment law issues including Employment claims and disputes, contracts and policies drafting, disciplinary and grievance issues, absence management, restructures and redundancies, and changes to terms and conditions, in addition to providing corporate support.

You will be a passionate lawyer who recognizes the fundamental importance of excellent client service and commerciality.

You will be a qualified lawyer under the laws of Poland (ideally with 4 to 6 years’ PQE). You will demonstrate a strong interest labor law matters and will have already worked in employment for at least 2–3 years.

Solid matter management is a must, as is ambition, self-motivation and both the desire and the ability to deliver top-quality work and act on your own initiative. You will be personable, technically excellent, commercial, thrive in a collaborative team environment, be intellectually curious and enjoy resolving challenging legal issues.
