This global law firm with more than 600 lawyers in their Corporate group worldwide, advises many of the world’s leading and emerging companies, as well as financial institutions and buyout and investment funds, on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, public and private equity and debt offerings, venture capital and private equity investments, and other transactional matters. They also advise on securities compliance, corporate governance, IT, tax, and executive compensation.
Their Vienna Corporate/M&A team is seeking two Senior Associates who are experienced in advising clients on the intricately structured transactions, often involving multiple jurisdictions and compressed time periods, which are commonplace in today’s mergers and acquisitions environment. You will be well versed in providing advice to clients on issues relating to share and asset sales and purchases, reconstructions and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, management buyouts, joint ventures, shareholders’ rights and the establishment and dissolution of partnerships. You will be particularly skilled in the creation of deal structures, and planning and implementing strategies for both acquirers and sellers in domestic, regional and cross-border transactions. The Associates have been noted for investing the time and energy required to provide clients with a superior level of service.
You will be an Austrian Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of experience in Corporate/Commercial/M&A. Such experience will have been gained at a leading local or international law firm which is well ranked and known for its ability to successfully managing transactions and driving deals to conclusion. Your transactional track record should include plenty of cross-border / international transactions.
You will be fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
