Our client, a full-service international law firm in over 25 locations, is seeking a dynamic partner in Transactional Corporate/M&A for their expanding Paris office. The firm brings strong, established local and global experience and know-how to assist clients in succeeding in their business transactions. Their clients appreciate both the firm’s global insight and local expertise that allows them to handle all aspects of complex domestic and cross-border transactions. The corporate team works for a varied clientele, from large listed and unlisted groups, SMEs, VSEs such as start-ups and investors, French and international.
As a member of the corporate practice, you will work on the full spectrum of corporate transactions and deliver seamless, integrated solutions to clients. As part of a team that works on international matters, you should have considerable expertise across M&A, joint ventures, private equity, equity capital markets, restructurings and advisory work such as corporate governance to provide innovative and cost effective solutions.
Our client is interested in partners who have a solid level of portable business. They may consider energetic young partners with lower portable if they have a proven upward trajectory in their business development. Counsels may also be considered if they are in the “superstar” category.
Ideally, we seek a French qualified lawyer who has been practicing transactional corporate/M&A law for 9+ years. International types, fluent in both French and English and members of the French Bar Association are welcome to inquire. In addition, you are a dedicated lawyer with exceptional project management and leadership skills who can identify new business opportunities and contribute to the further development of the practice.
