This is a rare opportunity for a qualified Associate from a dedicated transactional Banking & Finance practice at one of the world’s premier global law firms.
The firm’s Casablanca office is one of the leading international legal advisory platforms in Morocco, acting as a strategic gateway to the continent—particularly Francophone North and West Africa. The team offers market-leading capabilities in Finance & Capital Markets, Projects, and M&A/Private Equity, advising on both inbound and outbound transactions and consistently earning top-tier recognition across all practice areas.
This position may be performed remotely from Paris, with occasional travel to Casablanca, offering flexibility while still providing full integration into the firm’s Africa-focused practice.
In this role, you will support and lead work within cross-border, interdisciplinary teams advising on project financing, financial regulation, restructuring, and financial market operations, while ensuring alignment with local laws and client expectations.
Qualified candidates must be fluent in French, with a strong track record advising French or Francophone clients, sound commercial awareness, and an interest in developing and mentoring junior lawyers on technical matters, drafting, and high-quality client service.
Requirements:
- 7 to 8 years’ experience in structuring financial transactions within Project Finance or Leveraged Finance practices at a top-tier international law firm.
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal ability.
