Our client, a highly esteemed law firm, is currently seeking a mid-level lawyer based in Istanbul, with specialized expertise in energy, infrastructure or project finance law. Key Responsibilities:
- Representing clients in a variety of industries, from construction and real estate, to energy generation and natural resource management, and telecommunications.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex financing agreements, including loan agreements, security documents, and project contracts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on project finance transactions, including debt and equity financing, project development, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Preparing comprehensive due diligence reports on projects, identifying legal risks.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating financing documents, conducting legal due diligence, and managing complex transactions from inception to closing.
- Demonstrated excellence in academic achievements and exceptional legal skills, coupled with a strong reputation for delivering commercial solutions and possessing excellent transactional and management abilities.
- Have an understanding on infrastructure finance transactions and the public-private partnership (PPP) transactions.
