Our client, a leading regional law firm is seeking a highly motivated lawyer with at least 10 years of experience to join their Environmental Protection practice. The ideal candidate will be able to lead and direct a team independently. Eligible candidates must be able to provide commercial and market-focused advice to clients in a range of sectors, including in particular manufacturing clients, energy and waste companies, oil and gas operators, and construction companies.
You should be able to identify and harness the opportunities arising from changing environmental and sustainability regulations. Your expertise should be in Environmental Protection space as you will assist with waste management, permitting and defense of waste-related prosecutions, air emissions, and implications of changes to baseline conditions in permits, surface and groundwater discharges and contamination, including changes to discharge limits in permits and guidance on next steps after breaches of permits.
Requirements:
- Polish-qualified lawyer with at least 10 years of experience in Environmental protection
- Have portable businesses
- Excellent communication skills are an essential part of the role to communicate internally and with key clients.
- Passionate about getting the deal done
- Fluency in English and Polish.
Your experience will have been gained at a leading International, regional or local firm required. Candidates coming from in-house should only have been in house for less than 2 years. We are mainly interested in candidates coming directly from another law firm, big4, or other legal consultancy.
