Our client, a leading law firm with global presence has a substantial sized award-winning Life Sciences team with deep expertise across disciplines. They are seeking a lead lawyer for the Life Sciences practice in Prague. This hire will advise clients in the sector on all their legal needs, including litigation, regulation, compliance and investigations, IP strategy and enforcement, data privacy, M&A, and licensing and distribution
You will play a key part in strengthening and building relationships with pharma, biotech, medical device, and diagnostics clients along with incorporating your own portable into our client portfolio. If joining as a counsel you should have minimum of portable business. We also welcome partners to enquire if they have a robust book of business.
The future partner will have a solid background in health care/life sciences transactional and regulatory matters and be able to advise on all aspects of business activities including the requirements for production, registration and approval in the pharma and biotech sector. This firm requires at least 10 years of overall law firm experience from leading Czech or international law firms. At least 6 years of such experience should have been gained in Life Sciences practice — during which time you will have become known for your leading reputation in the Czech market. You will have outstanding command of English as well as fluency in Czech both written and oral and you should be a Czech qualified lawyer.
