Our client, a leading regional law firm is seeking a highly motivated lawyer with at least 10 years of experience to join their Financial Services Regulatory practice. The role will involve in advising varied list of banks, (re)insurers, investment firms. You could therefore expect to work on a range of complex, high-end, and interesting regulatory matters, from across the market. You’ll be handling very high-quality work, with plenty of autonomy and responsibility, while also being a key part of a friendly, well-integrated, and inclusive team. Applicants should ideally have a good working knowledge of the Financial Services and Markets Act, the Regulated Activities Order, and the law and rules that apply to at least one of banks, (re)insurers, and investment firms; be used to advising on novel, complex and high-risk matters; be a regulatory specialist, while also prepared to advise on the regulatory aspects of commercial contracts and corporate transactions as may be required.
Requirements:
- Polish-qualified lawyer with at least 10 years of experience most of which should be in Financial Services
- Have portable business.
- Excellent communication skills are an essential part of the role to communicate internally and with key clients.
- Passionate about getting the deal done.
- Fluency in English and Polish.
Your experience will have been gained at a leading International, regional or local firm required. Candidates coming from in-house should only have been in house for less than 2 years. We are mainly interested in candidates coming directly from another law firm, big4, or other legal consultancy.
