Our client, an international law firm with over 3000 lawyers, is looking for an ambitious Polish-qualified transactional lawyer to start as soon as possible in Warsaw.

You will be working on a broad range of complex transactional matters, advising on acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, and financings for national and international clients.

Due to this client’s broad client list and client’s large network, the clients are both small and large corporates, PE and start-ups, scale-ups across a wide variety of sectors. You are welcome to come with specific sector expertise or build up your knowledge in a particular area.

You will be involved in all stages of deals from due diligence, structuring of transactions, drafting SPA’s, SHA’s, and related Contracts along with their negotiations. Post-deal matters (integration) will also be your remit.

You will constantly work together with other colleagues from labor, tax, finance, and real estate as needed providing the client a one-stop shop and adding to your value as a corporate lawyer. Internally and toward clients you will be the first point of contact.

Requirements:

  • Polish-qualified lawyer with at least 10 years of experience most of which should be in M&A (share, asset, corporate, and PE deals.
  • Have portable business
  • Excellent communication skills are an essential part of the role to communicate internally and with key clients.
  • Passionate about getting the deal done.
  • Fluency in English and Polish.

Your experience will have been gained at a leading International, regional or local firm required. Candidates coming from in-house should only have been in house for less than 2 years. We are mainly interested in candidates coming directly from another law firm, big4, or other legal consultancy.
