Our client is seeking a mid-level lawyer to join its Transactions team in Prague.

Profile:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a (Czech or international) law firm, specializing in private M&A and transactional work. Experience with cross-border deals is a strong advantage.
  • You hold a Czech and/or UK law degree with excellent academic results. An additional degree or LLM in English is highly valued.
  • You have strong analytical skills, a creative mindset, and a proactive approach.
  • You are willing to travel abroad for internal training and meetings.
  • You are a team player with excellent legal acumen, communication skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You have an excellent command of English; proficiency in another language is an advantage.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will become part of a dynamic team active in corporate transactions, including Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity projects.
  • You will assist with the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of transactional documents such as SPAs and shareholders’ agreements.
  • You will conduct legal due diligence on cross-border transactions and provide detailed reports.
  • You will collaborate with teams across the CEE region, working on deals across various industries.
  • You will mentor and support junior colleagues, fostering their professional growth.
  • You will help maintain and strengthen client relationships while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • You will participate in business development initiatives and help raise the firm’s profile through marketing and events.
